Things I have learnt about Williamsburg tonight...

I've just got back from my little wander, and thought I'd update you all with my thoughts on Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and the people there of.

Things I have learnt so far:

  • There is no such thing as too many clashing neon colours in an outfit
  • It is not considered unusual for a pair of men to burst into a duet at any given moment (I witnessed it more than once and no one gave it a second look)
  • Any wall looks better covered in graffiti
  • There is an amazing cheese shop... if you look interested they give you lots of free samples. They also have a whole counter full of olives. Yum.
  • Every spare little bit of space can be turned into some kind of strangeness....

Yes, your eyes do not decieve you... that really is a polar bear on the boot of a car, a dolphin on a stool and a gorilla behind a desk. I don't know why, it just is.

    1. This sounds like a very kookie place I like the innercity menagerie with all the stuffed creatures. Does the red van have any decent alloys on ?
You take care as you explore.
Are you enjoying the experience so far?
